World History I - We started Friday with CNN Student News. Then we continued our look at the Middle Ages by talking a bit more about Charlemagne and then explaining Feudalism. Finished class by passing back, and going over their tests from chapters 4 and 5.
Government - Briefly discussed topics in the news before looking into the similarities and differences in the House of Representatives and the Senate. Students were given a handout to fill out and help guide them through section two (House of Representatives) and section three (Senate). Finished up talking about the use of the filibuster in the Senate. All-time record filibuster = 24 hours and 18 minutes.
