World History I - It was World History's turn for presentations today. All classes presented information on varying Native American civilizations that students had researched yesterday. Students also turned in the worksheets from chapter six.
Government - Started with CNN Student News. Then took notes over chapter five section one, which is the beginning of a unit on the Legislative Branch. This section focuses on Congressional Membership. We discussed the House and Senate qualifications. Also discussed elections, terms, and reapportionment. We finished class talking about gerrymandering, and students completed a gerrymandering simulation.
