World History I - We watched CNN Student News to begin the class. The writing assignments were collected following the news. Then we began chapter thirteen. The chapter covers the Renaissance. Students learned about the differences between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, what humanism was, and learned some details about famous Renaissance individuals.
Government - We finished up information from yesterday about the role of the Vice President in the Executive Branch. Then we discussed situations where Presidential Succession, the topic discussed yesterday, has been utilized.
