World History II - In World History today, we started with CNN Student News.  After watching the news, we started chapter twenty eight by doing some work from sections one and two.  In those two sections, students learned about the life and times of the people living through the years in between WWI and WWII.  Topics covered included the Jazz Age and the Roaring Twenties, advancements in science, and issues facing the world's three largest democracies (USA, France, England).  We will finish this work tomorrow, and move on to the next section.

Economics - In economics, we also started with the news.  After the news, students were given about fifteen minutes to finish their work from Friday.  From that point, we went on to chapter twelve section one, which is about Macroeconomics and GDP.  We defined the term and explained how it was measured, then went on to look at some statistics of GDP's around the world.  We will continue this tomorrow.
