World History II - Today in World History started with CNN Student News. From there students were reminded about the next check-in on All Quiet on the Western Front, which is Monday, and were asked a few questions about yesterday's materials. Then we began section five which is about Hitler's rise to power in Germany. Students learned about the Weimar Republic, its shortcomings in the economy, and the eventual solutions. Students also be able to explain why a person like Adolf Hitler is able to take power in Germany, even though he has such radical thoughts/ideas.
Economics - In econ today, students were first given time to complete the work from yesterday on population and poverty, two issues that impact the GDP. After students had completed their work, we began chapter thirteen section one, which covers business cycles. Students should be able to show the fluctuations of a business cycle, name the parts, and explain causes for change in a business cycle.
