Wednesday, April 18

World History II - Today in World History started with the news.  After the news, we quickly reviewed who the Big Three were, and the impact of the Treaty of Versailles.  From there, we went through chapter twenty six section five, which covers the Russian Revolution.  Students today got background information on Russia, and why they were struggling/in a position to go through a revolution, explained what happened with Russia during WWI leading them to revolution, and learned about Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks.  Tomorrow, we will finish section five, and review, as the students will be taking a test on Friday over chapter twenty six.

Economics - In econ today, students took a test over chapters eight and nine, covering labor, labor unions, and taxes.  We will pick up with chapter ten tomorrow.
