World History II - In history classes today, we started by finishing a worksheet that students were given yesterday. The worksheet covered the first section of chapter twenty nine, which is one World War II. When completed, student turned in the paper, and watched CNN Student News. After the news, we went on to section two, which is about the early part of the war and how the Axis Powers made big gains. We will continue that tomorrow. Finally, just a reminder that questions over chapters eight and nine of All Quiet on the Western Front will be checked on Friday.
Economics - In Econ today we started with CNN Student News. In the course of the last few days, we have covered chapter thirteen which is about issues facing the nation's economy as a whole. We have focused on business cycles, inflation, and today unemployment. Students should now know that there are five types of unemployment, and should be able to expand on the costs of unemployment to the economy as a whole.
