Friday, September 7

World History -  All students in world history at this point are working on a project about world religions.  In groups of 3-4, students will cooperatively put together a project on a given religion.  Tentative due dates will be this next Tuesday.  Each group will present to the class, and they will take a short quiz over the religions when all are finished.

Government - In government today, students were given back an assignment that was turned in as well as their test.  The majority of the class period today was spent on finishing up discussion of public opinion and polling.  Students are reminded that they have an assignment due on Monday (or Tuesday for 6th).  Students will also have a quiz on the first day I see them next week over the readings from Lanahan.  Other homework items include three short readings from Lanahan beginning on pages 22, 383, and 401.

In other news...
-Big football game tonight at Lawrence Central!  Looking forward to seeing a big crowd watch the Trojans take down Cathedral!
-Good luck to all of the other athletes in action over the course of the weekend. Go Trojans!

Have a great weekend everyone!
