Monday, September 10

World History - Today in 2nd and 3rd period world history class, students continued to work on their religion projects.  As I made my way around the room, students told me they were nearly finished with their work, so presentations should begin tomorrow in class.  Students will have a few minutes to organize with their groups prior to presenting.

Government - Today in 5th period government, students turned in their polling assignments.  Students also discussed why their results turned out the way they did.  Students then took a short quiz over the Lanahan readings they had been assigned.  Finally, we began chapter ten, which is on elections.  For homework, students will need to read pages 408 to 421 from the textbook, and the entry on page 500 from Lanahan.

In other news...
-Congratulations to the football team on a big win over Cathedral!  Well done.
-Again, all sorts of sports to come watch this evening ranging from golf, tennis, football, volleyball and soccer.  Good luck to all of our Trojan athletes!
