World History - In world history classes over the last couple days, students have learned about the beginnings of Rome. In section one, we talked about their background, how geography affected unifying the Italian peninsula, and how their government was set up. In section two, students heard about how the empire grew and expanded. They learned about the Punic Wars, and the rise of Julius Caesar. We will continue to make our way through chapter five this week and next. When we finish chapter five, students will have a test over both chapter four (about Greece) and five (about Rome).
Government - No government class today as seniors were dismissed after the Living Rosary this morning. Students will pick up in chapter twelve to finish talking about interest groups, as well as discussing the Presidential Debate last night.
