Welcome to a new week!
World History I - Started the week with CNN Student News. Finished working on the worksheet from Chapter 6 on Native American Civilizations in the Americas, which was given out on Friday. Grades are finalized and will be turned in to the office tomorrow, mailed out shortly thereafter.
Government - Last week was spent working on a Political Party Project. In this project, students in groups of up to four were to create a political party on the school level. They were running for the position of principal of the building, and were going to implement the changes their group agreed upon. Those projects were presented by most groups today in front of our class. Tomorrow we go to the auditorium to present in front of a "voting audience" of 7 other classes. Presentations were well thought out, and entertaining! Midterm grades are also finalized here, and turned in tomorrow.
